The Artist — Redisa Lena
Born in Latvia in 1963, Redisa Lena is one of the most singular voices in contemporary Baltic painting.
Engineer by training, artist by vocation — she holds two technical diplomas and a fine arts formation from the prestigious Latvia Academy of Fine Arts,
where she studied under the direction of Professor Kozin.
Her work has been exhibited in Riga since 2005, earning the recognition of collectors across Europe.
Her paintings are executed exclusively in oil on canvas — a deliberate, uncompromising choice that reflects her mastery of light, texture,
and chromatic depth. Coastal Latvia, the Baltic shores, and occasional international scenes form the poetic geography of her universe.
